Fish restaurant

Chips are dismal tbh, I know crops currently, result in smaller potatoes but, far too crispy in 'my' opinionFish was great, but had to ask for a skinless cod, previously were always skinless.

Upon my first ever visit to the venue, I felt nothing but a warm welcome and exceptional service. Craig (the owner), had all the time for myself and my partner, and was more than happy to part knowledge and sit with us in the evening for a chat.The varied selection of wines to tasty rums is fantastic! Even more so the carefully curated dishes on their food menu.Atmosphere was very relaxed and we both felt very comfortable. Good lighting, great music and awesome artwork.Get yer'sel doon tae Faffles if you haven't already ❤️

Been coming to Dorothy's for years always have the same, chicken curry cheese and chips. The curry sauce is world famous well Cardiff famous anyway, so fruity and flavoursome. The chips are spot on crunchy yet lovely and fluffy inside. If your in Cardiff no better fast food place.

Really good: tasty food; excellent and attentive service and a super location. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea and it was something a little different. Support local businesses!

Excellent gluten free fish and chips - cooked fresh in less than 10 mins, and really light and tasty.Great service too, very friendly and professional. Would recommend!

Fish was alright - owner complained that fish was hard to make and that he wanted to give us kids portions and wasn't very friendly at all. Really slow service and an unfortunate let down since the food was nice.

Unprofessional and chef never smiled at all. Chips were luke warm and when politely mentioned I was told I just serve and take orders and he's the chef!!Asked them to check the unit was working as they were not fresh or warm. Got replacement but still no apology. Certainly won't be returning.

OMG - La Nonna is absolutely amazing.We never knew it was there, yet we love Italian food.The service is 100% spot on, as is the atmosphere - where you are not rushed and can actually enjoy your meal at your own pace.The food is amazing, the flavours are outstanding with portion sizes extremely generous.The great thing is my wife and I visited on a date night and we were blown away at everything and kept talking about it , telling others about it. Then we decided to go but this time take both our parents as well (our way of saying thank you for everything) ... Everything and I mean everything down to the last detail was the same as our first visit ... No drop in any areas, especially not the food or portion size.This impressed my wife and I, knowing it was not a fluke on our previous first visit.Our parents (who each are all picky) were amazed and loved the place, atmosphere, food, flavour and portion size. One even said they were expecting this fine dining stuff where you pay a lot and get nothing. The mother-in-law, couldn't even eat all her main and they packed it all up for her to take with her.This place, as long as they don't change is just great and amazing .... The service is next to none and can't be faulted, neither can the atmosphere.You really do get what you pay for, but with the (as it should be) added extra of the portion sizes.To find a negative ... I am being very very picky. The Champaign options are limited and expensive.1000% recommend to anyone looking for a great date night meal location, or just for anyone to go out and to eat, drink, enjoy everything (service & atmosphere) and be able to talk.Excellent, please La Nonna do not make any changes.
